Edition de Luxe. Twelve octavo volumes (8 x 5 1/2 inches; 205 x 140 mm). Illustrated with numerous engraved plates and each volume with an engraved frontispiece. Tissue guards.Three-quarter red morocco over red cloth boards. Morocco ruled in gilt. Spines ruled and lettered in gilt. Red cloth endpapers. Top edges gilt., others uncut. Partially unopened. Spines a bit darkened. A bit of light rubbing and chipping along edges and hinges. Overall a very nice set.
