With ninety-four mounted photogravures in black and white including frontispiece. Additional illustrations in the text. Plates with descriptive tissue-guards.

Half green morocco over green cloth. Morocco ruled in gilt. Spine stamped and lettered in gilt. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Marbled endpapers. Silk page markers. Housed in a green cloth, velvet lined slipcase. A fine copy of the beautiful item.

"The whole of the plates of this book have been engraved by Hallet Hyatt, of 111, Oxford Street, London. All the photographs have been taken by him, and the whole of the hand-coloured facsimiles were painted under his supervision. The book has been printed at the Chiswick Press. George C. Williamson was an art historian who sometimes advised J. Pierpont Morgan on his purchases. This is one of three catalogues he produced of Morgan's collection. Morgan, and providing one of the finest collection catalogs of all time...
